my dog’s gone blind.

Ξ November 5th, 2008 | → 2 Comments | ∇ Uncategorized |

my oldest pound puppy, Gabby,
has lost her sight.
glaucoma, genetically based.
she is half pit bull, half chow,
and the runt of the litter.
the sweetest little 50 pound
ball of muscle
you’re ever likely to meet.

she’d run off with the mailman.

and, she has every
recessive gene
both breeds carry.

so we understood
this day was coming;
she lost one eye
about eight months ago,
and the other one had been fine.

until yesterday.

i call Gabby
my buddha heart dog.
we’re very attuned
to one another
emotionally.
she loves to
roughhouse with my wife;
i never do.
she’s always around.
she’s there for me.
and so it was no surprise
to me that i knew
something was wrong
as soon as i pulled into the driveway
of the kennel
(yes, we were out of town,
having a smashing time in chicago.
talk about a guilt head trip,
which i am prone to anyway).

i felt a sheet of acid
spread from the
center of my chest
out to my left arm.
my own condition
was immaterial;
i sensed it had nothing
to do with my heart,
but our Heart.

she looked fine coming out,
all smiley
the way i like to see her.
as i opened the door
to our suburban,
she walked snout-first
into the right rear tire.
i burst into tears,
half-swallowing
a belch of a sob.

i remembered sitting
in the vets office
when we found out about
her right eye,
the first eye.
i sat there under
the blue glaze
of the flourescents.

eyes raining. who sees, and who does not?

now she lays here,
at my feet,
and i can feel her.
i know where she is.
right here.

my wife lost her brother
seven years ago.
he fell suddenly,
from a fibrillating heart,
alone on a country road.

he was gone within minutes.

a friend of ours also had one,
in a restaurant,
when his wife said
she was leaving him.
the only other patron
happened to be a
heart surgeon,
with her kit.
why then?
because the grass is green.
why them?
because the sky is blue.

in some ancient wisdom traditions,
time at the charnel house,
contemplating the corpses’
rot runs concurrent
with the aspirant’s path.
that’s the essence
of the fifth night for me.
the last of the
parchment skin
has drawn and
curled off the skull,
revealing the bare naked truth
of the skull beneath.

such is the vision of heyoka.
rejoice,
that there is one
whose prohpecy
always fails,
always errs.
i have asked
all along that
during this shift,
that our lessons and blessings
always be tender and gentle.
and that we be kind,
in kind,
with one another.
to that, i can only add:
make love as often as possible,
with another or just yourself,
embracing yourself,
in gratitude and Bliss.

fishing for souls

Your everlasting summer

You can see it fading fast

So you grab a piece of something

That you think is gonna last

You wouldnt know a diamond

If you held it in your hand

The things you think are precious

I cant understand

Chorus:

Are you reelin in the years

Stowin away the time

Are you gatherin up the tears

Have you had enough of mine

-steely dan, reeling in the years.

this song, for me, has become anthemic during this, the fifth night.  all the lil’ ducklings coming home to roost, the fattening season almost over.

i was most interested in karen bishop’s alert of 5/12. to wit:

On May 11th, more new alignments occurred as well. The 11th is many times indicative of an opportunity to move through an opening to a higher vibrating reality. The portal of an 11 is usually an exciting event indeed, depending upon where we currently are and what has been transpiring.

If you were one who went through this latest portal, you may have experienced vertigo, spinning, or an extreme loss of balance. This is a common occurrence of ascension as well. When we connect more fully with our Merkabah, or light body, we then utilize it to catapult us into the higher realms.

Merkabah is defined as: “The divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. “Mer” means Light. “Ka” means Spirit. “Ba” means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another.”

Thus, it is common to experience spinning, vertigo, and a loss of balance when we are arriving more fully in the higher realms. The first time I had this experience, I began to panic, as I experienced panic attacks when I first began the intense part of the ascension process back in 2001. Feeling as if I was walking a foot or two above the earth, almost floating, used to freak me out as well. But as we become used to these experiences, and know what they are about, it can actually become a fun ride. Late on Saturday evening and into Sunday, when I was barely able to walk a straight line, I could only say “Wheeee! Here we go again!” Now many of these experiences are great fun as I know they are only indicative of a great move forward and I am truly grateful for them.

this merkaba started spinning about 15 months ago.  i had some intimations of the basic “structure”, but this was a dynamic, perfectly balanced counter-rotation, of two fields absolutely in resonance with the other, allowing and merging, all within the Presence.  more importantly, it is simply a spiritual organ, not our basic identity.  that’s absolutely essential to remember as merkaba starts to activate.

the fireworks start to go off, especially in the coming months and years, because merkaba is, ime, essentially a psychospiritual time machine.  it is indeed stargate.  as time speeds up, as photons begin to saturate our energetic fields, we will begin to thread our way between the vectors of the matrix, like a thread in a labyrinth, to bring back the prize:  our true Identity and inheritance.

the felt sense of it is much like riding a bicycle: shifting the wait, leaning into and feeling the turn.  however, oscillations happened, and continued for months in short, intense feelings of anger, frustration, grief and guilt.  this energy form shattered into a million white hot points of light, and has not returned since.  the gyroscope starts wobbling, as bits and pieces of psychic and emotional crud are literally ground off the nervous system, breath by breath, nuetralized, melted and swept away by the current.  simply by allowing the process to unfold in the present, with loving intention signified, at least for me, by an indescribably delicious sensation in the chest, and the heart chakra.

and now, during the fifth night of the mayan calendar, the Presence has appeared to stabilize in this bodymind, in the chest, just so.

it is written that “we see through a glass, darkly”.  acim calls the merely sensationist, flatland, quotidian, reptilian consciousness “upside down thinking”.  images hit the back of our brain upside down, to be “straightened out” (or re-interpreted).  most tellingly, from an archetypal perspective, the savage aspect of quetzacoatl, the hermetic figure of mesoamerica, was called “smoking mirror”.  he’s alive and well and stalking the streets today, good people.  we live in a world where lies and deception and, worst of all INSIGNIFIGANCE blast the public airwaves and the pyschic ether.

i say this only to relate the felt sense of the merkaba stabilizing. it’s like a mirror turning inside out.  when one holds the highest version of the grandest vision of one’s life, in that moment, with joyful intent, it’s all undone with one breath.

yesterday, the microcosm

showed me a darker corner

of the fifth night.

everything seems so

fragile right now,

the years having been reeled in,

ready to be hauled into the net.

iow, biz stuff.

right livelihood.

dirt.

money.

sex.

how to make one’s way,

holding the lantern

of truth and love,

amid the sense of

standing on the tracks,

one beam of light

blazing through the dark,

smack down on ya.

anchored, grounded, rooted,

i found a new depth of

resilience, and a sense of

relaxing and luxuriating in spirit.

mrs. spitzer's revenge

ran across this article on rense.com about the strange case of elliot spitzer:

Why Bush Watergated
Eliot Spitzer
By F. William Engdahl
3-19-8

The spectacular and highly bizarre release of secret FBI wiretap data to the New York Times exposing the tryst of New York state Governor, Eliot Spitzer, “No.9″ with a luxury call-girl, had less to do with the Bush Administration’s high moral standards for public servants. Spitzer was the target of a White House and Wall Street dirty tricks operation to silence one of its most dangerous critics in handling the current financial market Tsunami crisis.

A useful rule of thumb in evaluating spectacular scandals around prominent public figures is to ask what and who might want to eliminate that person. In the case of Governor Spitzer, a Democrat, it is clear that the spectacular “leak” of government FBI wiretap records showing that Spitzer paid a high-cost prostitute $4,300 for what amounted to an hour’s personal entertainment, was politically motivated. Why?, is the interesting question.

Spitzer became Governor of the State following a record as a relentless State Attorney General going after financial crimes such as the Enron fraud and corruption by Wall Street investment banks during the 2002 dot.com bubble era. He was bitterly hated on Wall Street for that. He had made his political career on being ruthless against financial corruption. Most recently, from his position as Governor of the nation’s second largest state, and home to its financial industry, Spitzer had begun making high profile attacks on the complicity of the Bush Administration in covertly arranging bailout if its Wall Street financial friends at the expense of ordinary homeowners and citizens, paid all with taxpayer funds.

Curiously, Spitzer, who had been elected governor in 2006 defeating a Republican winning nearly 70 percent of the vote, has been not charged in any crime. However, New York Assembly Republicans immediately announced plans to impeach Spitzer or put him on public trial were he to refuse resignation. Spitzer could be asked to testify in any trial involving the Emperors Club prostitution ring. But so far he hasn’t been charged with a crime. Prostitution is illegal in most US states, but clients of prostitutes are almost never charged. The Spitzer case is in the hands of Washington and not state authorities, underscoring the clear political nature of the Spitzer “Watergate.”

The New York Times said Spitzer was an individual identified as Client 9 in court papers filed last week. Client 9 arranged to meet with “Kristen,” a prostitute who charged $1,000 an hour, on February 13 in a Washington hotel and paid her $4,300, according to the court documents. The case is clearly political when compared with more egregious recent cases involving Republicans. Republican Mark Foley was exposed propositioning male interns in Congress and Rudolph Giuliani was discovered cheating on his wife but no Republican calls for resignations.

Why The Attack Now?

Spitzer had become increasingly public in his blaming the Bush Administration for the nation’s current financial and economic disaster. He testified in Washington in mid-February before the US House of Representatives Financial Services subcommittee on the problems in New York-based specialized insurance companies, known as “monoline” insurers (monoline Versicherung). In a national TV interview the same day, he laid blame for the crisis and its broader economic fallout on the Bush Administration.

Spitzer recalled that several years ago the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency went to court and blocked New York State efforts to investigate the mortgage activities of national banks. Spitzer argued the OCC did not put a stop to questionable loan marketing practices or uphold higher underwriting standards.

“This could have been avoided if the OCC had done its job,” Spitzer said in the interview. “The OCC did nothing. The Bush Administration let the housing bubble inflate and now that it’s deflating we’re dealing with the consequences. The real failure, the genesis, the germ that has spread was the subprime scandal,” Spitzer said. Fraudulent marketing and very low “teaser” mortgage rates that later ballooned higher, were practices that should have been stopped, he argued. “When mortgages are being marketed, there is a marketplace obligation to ensure the borrower can afford to pay back the debt,” he said.

That TV interview was only one instance of Spitzer laying blame on the Bush Republicans. On February 14, Spitzer published a signed article in the influential Washington Post titled, “Predatory Lenders’ Partner in Crime: How the Bush Administration Stopped the States From Stepping In to Help Consumers.”

That article appeared the day after his ill-fated tryst with the prostitute at the Mayflower Hotel. Coincidence? Spitzer wrote, “”In 2003, during the height of the predatory lending crisis, the OCC invoked a clause from the 1863 National Bank Act pre-empting all state predatory lending laws, thereby rendering them inoperative. The OCC also promulgated new rules that prevented states from enforcing any of their own consumer protection laws against national banks.”

In his article Spitzer charged, “Not only did the Bush administration do nothing to protect consumers, it embarked on an aggressive and unprecedented campaign to prevent states from protecting their residents from the very problems to which he federal government was turning a blind eye.” Bush, said Spitzer right in the headline, was the “Predator Lenders’ Partner in Crime.” The President, said Spitzer, was a fugitive from justice. And Spitzer was in Washington to launch a campaign to take on the Bush regime and the biggest financial powers on the planet. Spitzer wrote, “When history tells the story of the subprime lending crisis and recounts its devastating effects on the lives of so many innocent homeowners the Bush administration will not be judged favorably.”

With that article, some Washington insiders believe, Spitzer signed his own political death warrant.

interesting, no?

jmo, but i wish people could just FOR-GIVE PUBLIC OFFICIALS FOR BEING DEEPLY FLAWED HUMAN BEINGS, JUST LIKE THE REST OF US!

the fact that seems to elude people about public figures is that because we judge them, they become trapped and open to blackmail, with all the control and manipulation that comes with it.  j. edgar hoover built a career on blackmail.

i would bet dollars to donuts that the majority of elected officials have skeletons in their closet.  i would bet more dollars to more donuts that there are hundreds of members of congress who are chained by their pasts, and make deals with the devil to retain their power.

i’m not letting them off the hook; all i’m saying that because the public is so addicted to having their politicians sinless, they force everything to hide in the shadows.  and the stuff that’s going on in the shadows makes call-girls look like girl scouts.  we like to be shocked; we like to be titillated.  we like to be distracted, because then we don’t have to worry about the hard stuff, like taking back our power from the elite.  david rockefeller just closes the door and laughs his ass off every time one of these “scandals” wafts up a stank.  one more tumbler falls into place in the lock on the prison door.

so, all i’m suggesting is that we get what we deserve, in most respects.

georg groddeck and the matrix

collective unconscious

we were talking about the persistence of unworthiness, suffering, guilt and other “negative” emotions on another thread.  below is an essay i first read about 3 years ago.  i find myself going back to it over and over, kind of like a touchstone.  i have long been fascinated with why these destructive thoughtforms persist and propagate through the human race, all over the planet.  i believe the following essay reveals a deeper level of meaning and, for me at least, understanding of the human experience…

Quote

Georg Groddeck spent half his life in the nineteenth century, half in the twentieth. Born in 1866, ten years after Freud, he died in 1934 in Switzerland, soon after fleeing the Gestapo. Shortly before that, he had sent an obscene telegram to the newly elected Hitler. He was a general practitioner of fiercely independent mind and unusually wide philosophical and literary interests. He loved and scoffed at his calling — the essential quality of being a physician, he said, was “a propensity for cruelty which has been just so far suppressed as to be useful, and which has as its warder the dread of causing pain” (p. 4).

Groddeck was a pupil of Schweninger, Bismarck’s personal physician. Schweninger saw the doctor as merely a catalyst to set off a therapeutic process. But Groddeck had his own style: “Nearly as great as my aversion to the surgeon’s bloody trade is my dislike of the assorted poisons of the pharmacopoeia, and so I came to massage and to mental treatment; these are both not less cruel, but they adapt themselves better to any particular man’s desire to suffer” (p. 5).

Probing more and more into his patients’ minds, he uncovered the basic principles of symbolization, resistance, and transference, although he did not then label them as such. In fact, he wrote an article in 1912 rather harshly criticizing psychoanalysis; the article was written without the benefit of much knowledge, an attack “launched from a position of prophetic envy, so to speak” (Groddeck, 1977, p. 32). In 1913 he began to read Freud’s works seriously. Reluctantly but forthrightly – for he was simultaneously proud of originality and honesty – he thereafter called himself a disciple of Freud’s.

Yet he was by no means a slavish disciple. Before learning about psychoanalysis, he had come to the conclusion that men may believe they are living their own lives, but the are actually “lived” by an unconscious “something,” a great force, the mystery of life, called “Gottnature” by Goethe. Because it was ineffable – in fact a fiction, he said, merely a way of thinking about man – Groddeck found it convenient to borrow the term “It” from Nietzsche. Consciousness, the ego, the self, physical illness, neurotic symptoms, and the great or vile works of man were basically manifestations of the It. The It was protean, could divide up, work one portion against others, experiment, build up, be playful, be destructive – finally destructive unto death.

The task for the physician in all illnesses (for Groddeck did not believe in the separation of the organic from the mental) was to gain access by any means to the patient’s It, to influence it in its ways. He himself sought access through the use of diet and massage, and in the process of interpreting symbol, transference, and resistance. But the actual process of cure remained, as he admitted over and over, unknown….

Freud, in his delineation of what would become known as the structural theory, acknowledged his debt to Groddeck, but agreed to the translation into English of Das Es into the word, Id (1923, p.23). (See, Spruiell, 1981a, VS81a). But privately he cautioned from the beginning that there was no need to extend the concept of the dynamic unconscious into philosophical and mystical realms.2 The differences about the translation of Das Es into “It” for Groddeck and “Id” for Freud persisted. Despite these cautious distinctions, and despite Groddeck’s independence, Freud never lost a close interest in him….

…Groddeck serves a function in reintroducing us to the excitement, terrors, richness, comedies, tragedies, earthiness, and joyfulness of the private worlds of conscious and unconscious fantasy…. The Book of the It is rich with examples of universal unconscious fantasies from childhood – precisely those private fantasies and acts that the public observer and the private parent is apt to miss (”mothers really understand very little about their children” [p. 25])….

“All these phenomena can be laid bare by the process of free association, by the recognition of the symbol, by understanding dreams. The dream is the speech of the unconscious [p. 37].). By recognizing the ubiquity of resistance and transference. But the laying bare does not produce final answers, and the nature of the unconscious is only barely comprehensible, only partly bearable to comprehend. What a toilsome business it is to speak about the Id. One plucks a string at hazard, and there comes the response, not of a single note, but of many, confusedly mingling and dying away again, or else awakening new echoes, and ever new again, until such an ungoverned medley of sounds is raging that the stammer of speech is lost. Believe me, one cannot speak about the unconscious, one can only stammer, or rather, one can only point out this and that with caution, lest the hell brood of the unconscious world should rush up out of the depths with their wild clangor” (p. 33).

http://www.analysis.com/vs/vs79a.html

i read about this guy in “disappearance of the universe”.  it’s a pretty remarkable assertion, backed by years of observation:  we’re all plugged into this primal force; thoughts emerge from and dissolve back into it.  personally, i think human beings (myself being a frequent example) take on way too much credit and blame for things that don’t have anything to do with our essential selves.  after many years of witness meditation, i began to realize “das ich” is a real, breathing entity.  thoughts emerge, then subside, into that deep pool.  it’s the collective energy of our species, yet there is something more to it than that.  what that is i leave to your own investigations, but for me, it is something on the akin to d.i’s “god program”…

Interview David Icke

Karma One: Beside the fact that the Matrix (and the human Mind) is his own source (”self ware” matrix as you said), what is the real source of the Matrix. Who or what create it and in which true purpose beside the fact to entrap us? Somebody or something must have the idea to create it? Who or what is this creator?

David Icke : I would say it is our own collective subconscious that has taken on a life and mind of its own. An ancient Hindu myth says that human consciousness had begun as a ripple that decided to leave the ocean of consciousness – the ‘timeless, spaceless and eternal’. When it awakened to itself in this ‘disconnected’ state, the myth said, it forgot that it was part of the infinite ocean and felt isolated and separated. This is pretty much what I am saying in my own way. In this disconnected state - like little lost children - we have collectively created the Matrix and become controlled and deluded by our own creation. I explain all this in detail in my new book, Infinite Love Is The Only Truth — Everything Else Is Illusion.

Karma One: You say that the Matrix is a kind of self sentient, conscient being, a kind of entity that is the source of our consensual reality. What is the true nature of this entity?

David Icke : It is consciousness that has lost its way also.  You could think of it as like a ‘Frankenstein’ consciousness that has taken over its creator. We are its prisoners while we remain in ignorance of our plight and believe that this ‘world’ is ‘real’. It is not. It is a projected holographic illusion very much along the lines portrayed in the first Matrix movie.

Karma One : Do we really belong to the matrix or to something else? What are our true origins?

David Icke : Everything is infinite consciousness. At that level of awareness there is no ‘we’, only one infinite ‘I’. But in this reality we have been caught in the illusion of separation. We think in terms of parts, not the whole. This duality and polarity is the ultimate version of divide and rule. The Matrix (this illusory ‘world’) is what I call the holographic Internet. Our brains/DNA are like a computer terminal linked to the World Wide Web. When you log on a computer in China, America or France you are connecting with the same Internet - the same collective reality. What you make of it gives you your sense of individuality, but the basic collective reality is the same. For instance, we all see the same car or house, but differ on what we think of them. Our DNA/brain is like a computer, decoding frequency fields - thought fields - into what we perceive as a collective reality. The ‘world’ we think is around us only exists in our brain/DNA -  our biological computer. The Matrix works on the same principle as television which broadcasts programmes in wave form that the TV decodes into pictures. The only difference is that our DNA/brain decode wave forms into holographic - apparently 3D - pictures.

Karma One : The matrix create the reptilian and the Illuminati to fulfil the role of the agent Smith toward human being? Why the Matrix create those agent in such a form? Why the form of reptilian?

David Icke : They have been created as part of the illusion and to keep us in the illusion - very much along the lines of Agent Smith in the first Matrix movie. Reptilian genetics - a computer program in truth - appear to be very prevalent within the Matrix for reasons I explain in detail in the new book.

Karma One : If we follow you, because of the genetic blending and manipulation of humanity, we are in fact also reptilian in some ways?

David Icke : Oh yes … the oldest part of the human brain is known by scientists as the ‘R’ complex or reptilian brain. It is where we get the character traits of cold-bloodedness, lack of empathy, ritualistic behaviour and all the other traits that you find in abundance in the Illuminati. It is these characteristics that allow them to cause such death and destruction without a thought for the victims.

Karma One : Did the reptilian knows that they are “agents”, some kind of artificial creation without real soul?

David Icke : The Matrix is a multi-dimensional illusion – the ultimate smoke and mirrors game. What we have on earth with the Illuminati manipulating behind the scenes with even world leaders not knowing the true story is an expression of the way the Matrix as a whole operates. Very few know who the real master is or what they are really serving. I am convinced that the reptilians are a biological computer program very much along the lines of the ‘Woman in the Red Dress’ in the Matrix movie. They are not conscious in the way we understand that term. They are following their program. So soulless? Yes, in the way most people perceive ‘soul’.

Karma One : You seems to say that Godhead, Jesus and all this kind of entity are still creation of the matrix. So, they are also some kind of “agent Smith”?

David Icke : They don’t have to be a perceivable Agent Smith because these concepts are beliefs. The belief does not have to exist to control the perception and behaviour of the believer. It is the belief itself that is the source of control.

Karma One : Do you know that Carlos Castaneda present our Godhead (Jesus, the Paradise , etc…) the same way?

David Icke : No I didn’t.

Karma One : The concept of Paradise is always the Matrix. The Christian or Islamic paradise is still in the Matrix?

David Icke : Yes. I have a chapter in my new book called The God Program that makes this point very strongly.

Karma One : The New Age movement is also a conception of the Matrix? Do you believe as Clive Prince (Stargate conspiracy) that there is an hidden agenda to create a one world religion mixing old Egyptian knowledge, Mystery Religion and obedience to extraterrestrial ?

David Icke : Yes I do think these is validity in this. I think we have to be very careful about anyone or anything that presents a case for (a) giving your power away to anyone and (b) equates ‘One World’ with centralisation of power. We can come together as one humanity without having a few dictators running everything from a central point.

All dictators operate through centralisation of decision-making and the destruction of diversity.

In the case of the New Age, the answer is a another yes. Once again I have a chapter about this in the new book – Old Age, New Age – Same Story.

Karma One : All the extraterrestrial beings are trapped like we are in the same Matrix? The challenge is the same for us than for them: to get out of this matrix?

David Icke: Those beings that take apparently ‘physical’ form, yes. We and they are already out of the Matrix at the level of our infinite consciousness. It is our mental and emotional level that has become caught in the illusion that is the Matrix. It is not that we need to ‘get out’ of anywhere, more to realise that it is a multi-dimensional computer game that only exists in our lower mind and emotion.

Karma One : Is it possible to transmute the Matrix in a better thing? Or do you think that the Matrix will defend herself because the way “she” worked need to be predatory?

David Icke : When we change our collective perception the Matrix will change because it is the projection of our own subconscious. We are our own controllers! We change – it changes.

Karma One : Can we find some messages or messengers who warned us about the Matrix? Did you find an entity ( like some kind of Jesus Christ or something like that) who try to warn us about the true nature of the Matrix and the religion?

David Icke : The truth of what is happening is being broadcast all the time … just as you have the broadcasts from radio and television stations in the ‘space’ you are occupying now. The trick is to ‘tune’ into that knowledge. Most people are not operating on those higher frequencies, however, because of the way society is structured and information is suppressed. As we open to higher levels of awareness we develop a ‘knowing’ about the Matrix by accessing that information from the realms beyond its illusion.

Karma One : The Matrix seem to be a creation. So, does it start somewhere or is it an infinite creation without cause, without end?

David Icke : The concept of starting and ending is actually a Matrix illusion. There is no time, only our perception of it. It’s more like a circle of experience in which we go round and round symbolically while thinking we are going forward. The past, present and future are happening at the same ‘moment’. They are different ‘points’ in the circle, the cosmic merry-go-round that I call the time loop, hence my book, Tales From The Timeloop.

Karma One : Is it possible that other kind of Matrix systems exist based on fear or on something else?

David Icke : Absolutely, I think there are enormous numbers of them. They are probably what science calls ‘parallel universes’, although these may be different levels of the one Matrix.

Karma One : Why a kind of “God” or what we can call the Main Source, The ONE or whatever don’t fix the Matrix, don’t stop this process that seems useless and endless?

David Icke : I think we are in process that will lead to this, but there is a vast amount of knowledge and understanding that I have not yet accessed and I have as many questions as anyone.

Karma One : You says that we don’t need as conscience to “learn”, to live different lives because the One don’t need it. So why are we still pushed, caught or attracted in the Matrix?

David Icke : Why is the moth attracted to the light? Why is the mouse mesmerised by the eyes of the snake? Humanity is collectively hypnotised by the illusion, but more and more are starting to wake up.

Karma One : What is the difference between the concept of Good, Goodness in the Matrix and Good and Goodness outside the matrix, in the Infinite, the One Universe?

David Icke : The Matrix is founded on duality and polarity – opposites, or apparent opposites. So we perceive goodness and badness, light and dark, positive and negative. In the realms of Oneness in awareness of itself everything is one. So there is no good or bad. Everything just is. There is no light or dark, only the unity of all. I call it ‘isness’ and it has to be experienced to be fully understood.

Karma One : Why human being need to pass through the Matrix and a alienate experience to experiment life in 3D? To learn something ?

David Icke : They don’t need to pass through, they become caught in the spider’s web of the five senses and other related dimensions and forget who or what they really are. They believe the illusion is real and once that happens they are trapped. And you don’t seek to escape to something you don’t even know exists. Imagine sitting in a prison cell believing that it was everything. Why would you seek to leave when you thought there was nowhere else to go

Karma One : If the Matrix is a trap, an illusion and that our real belonging is in the Infinite, there is no moral consideration to prevent myself to leave this world if I consider it frankly as a lost of time (even if I’m not my better judge). So, in this system, who or what can prevent people to kill themselves.

David Icke : We can’t kill ourselves, except as an illusion, because there is no death, only a different state of being. ‘Physical death’ is part of the programming, but because we believe it in it we experience what we believe to be real.

In terms of taking your own life, it depends on the mental and emotional state of the person who leaves this world by what we call death. The Robin Williams movie, What Dreams May Come, captured this well when his wife killed herself because she was
so devastated by the death of her husband and children. She wentto a realm (another state of illusion) that matched her mental
and emotional state. It was a deeply dark place that we would call ‘Hell’, but it was just the projection of her own mind. In the same way, if we leave this ‘world’ by whatever means with a knowledge of who and what we really are, our experience will
reflect that knowledge, understanding and love. We are consciousness and we create our own reality whereever we are.

Karma One : The basic assumption that suicide is bad come from religions and religion is a believing. A Believing is an illusion? So, if a life is unbearable for somebody, nobody can forbid him to kill himself for moral reasons?

David Icke : We are eternal consciousness and death is an illusion, as I have said. However, suicide is, by its very nature, overwhelmingly the result of someone who is in a deep state of depression, fear and anquish. To take your life in that state will simply take you into another realm of experience that reflects that emotional trauma. A living ‘hell’ in this ‘world’ becomes a living ‘hell’ in another. That is why it is definitely not to be recommended

Karma One : You seems to says that the Matrix became with the time some kind of independent entity, some kind of Frankenstein where the creator was overtake, outrun by his creature. You says that if we change, the Matrix will change. But Let’s speculate: Even if we change our subconscious minds in a snap, don’t you think that the Matrix will defend itself and impeach that?

David Icke : I would say the Matrix is a projection of our own minds, indeed each of us lives in our own Matrix because of the way we each interpret reality. The Matrix may have taken on a life of its own, but in the end it depends upon us, its source, for survival. Put simply, if enough computers reprogram the Internet the nature of the Internet must change or even cease to operate. It is the same with the Matrix.

Plan B from outer space

Ξ March 5th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Uncategorized |

i attended a local meeting of alternative practitioners tonight.  the topic was “conscious capitalism”, and the speaker was my friend Mita.  this has long been of interest to me; i’ve read everything from “in the spirit of business”, to “jesus, ceo”, to the writings of ken wilber on integral business, to you just about name it.

the foundation of the discussion was fractional banking, the federal reserve, the abrogation of the public commons by corporations: really questioning the assumptions we hold about money.  my intention with suggesting Mita speak to the group was this:  let’s really look at what we’re creating here.  people in the group are having dreams of creating a refuge and healing center with 400 acres of land, hiring lawyers, doing strategic visioning– a really grand version of a high vision, don’t get me wrong– but my view was that we need to come up with a “Plan B” if it all goes south for the winter.  after all, part of strategic planning is forecasting, and the outlook seems to be rain.  lots of rain.

the mood of the group, i am happy to report, was open and receptive.  the time quickly ripening when the conventional solutions to economic distribution and exchange will be seen, by the majority of the population, as empty shells, illusions.  it seemed to me we all had a sense of how precarious our current situation is.  more important, the general consensus was: think global, act local.  this group is in the beginning stages of forming trust and a level of commitment to one another.  just having a place to speak freely about how deep the betrayal goes, in every level of culture and commerce, brought us closer together.

at one point someone said, “it’s all so complex”.  but i was reminded of a recent quote by david icke:

David Icke Newsletter, February 3rd 2008

…there has to be a consciousness shift to trigger any transformation of reality. You can organise all the groups you like to challenge injustice, call all the public meetings you want, produce a mountain of minutes and arrange for mass marches through the streets. But nothing will change unless there is a change in consciousness….

Here’s an example of what I mean:

How do we solve the problems of all these wars and conflicts, and all the suffering, poverty and political infighting?

Body consciousness answer: We must have conferences and UN votes and send more troops and have G8 summits and marches through the streets.

Higher consciousness answer: We must love each other.

And no, that’s not just a trite one-liner from a New Age workshop. It is a fundamental truth from which all else comes.

System-thinkers are observing everything from a crooked angle. They see the complexity of society as the target they must focus upon to bring about ‘change’ when the complexity is the symptom, not the cause. It is an expression of the values that underpin it and if the values are flawed and complex, so must be their expression…

The biggest challenge for all of us in this time of transition is to live our words and not just speak them. Humans have developed a wondrous gift for self-deception and we are simply brilliant at persuading ourselves that what we think is right for us is what is right for the greater good. It is time to be honest with ourselves.

Awakening to the power of love is one thing - expressing it when its reality is at odds with body reality is quite another. Only when we are faced with a choice between what we know to be right and what we think is best for us at that time will we truly confirm if love is our guide and not just a catchphrase that is to be spoken, but not stirred.

the power of the pyramid is at the base ;-)  time to jenga-size the mutha!

turning trash into treasure

i cleaned out my office today. might not seem like a big deal to you, but it is to me.

i tend to shuffle piles around, then if i haven’t touched a piece of paper in six months, in the round file it goes. that’s my system (except for receipts, etc).

i’d been resisting, because i knew what was coming: going through files and files of old ideas that never panned out. the last time i did this, i literally broke down and cried.

this time, my response was different. i started to put this “trash” together in different combinations, making new connections. i stayed in the present, rather than retreating to this litany of old grievances and wounds.

last week i went out and bought a bunch of storage bins. then friday i read this from karen:

Have you been cleaning out your closets of late? Re-arranging those file cabinets? Going through your old storage places? Getting rid of all those old cd’s you no longer listen to? Throwing out things you have not been utilizing for awhile and feel are no longer a fit for you now? Are you re-arranging and organizing?

Mercury retrograde is assisting us in preparing for our very new beginnings. Going back and clearing out the old is a part of this process. Innately, we are getting ready for what is to come, as we will soon be very busy with all the new manifestations and won’t have much time to deal with old business. In addition, the old no longer serves us in a new beginning as it is part of an energy of the past…an energy which does not exist in this very new reality we are now poised to experience.

“Where do I go from here?” you may be wondering. “I can no longer go back to the old creations of what was, or to where I once was, but I have absolutely no idea where I am headed now! And where is it anyway? Nothing seems to be arriving or manifesting for me! Just a lot of confusion and see-sawing!” Yes, we cannot go back. This is because we are no longer in alignment with the old. Through the massive restructuring and purging and releasing process we undertook in 2007, we are now most certainly no longer a match for what we once were.

So then, we know we must go forward into something new, as it is most certainly time for our very new beginnings. The challenge we now face, is that a higher vibrating reality which we now match has not yet been created, and we then find ourselves in states of confusion, feeling lost, identity crisis, lack of confidence, insecurity, and the like.

this post put things in context for me, what’s been happening over the last 10 weeks. things feel a little more “solid” now than they have been.

clarity is starting to emerge. calm is starting to become the norm, with minor intervals of turmoil, instead of it being the other way around like it has been most of my life. and, i gave myself permission to say “no” to a couple of things in my life that needed it, AND finding a way to do it without going destructive or disconnecting from the people involved.

tenderly. gently.

it’s nice to be out in the sun, playing in the water, panning for gold for a change, instead of underground mining.

i did it!

samson gets his hair cut

after kicking it around, i decided to get my hair cut.  thanks to tin for setting an example!  lol

i remembered this painting, because up until yesterday this is how i felt about the issue:  trade my individuality for the candy colored illusion of safe conformity.

wotteva.  yesterday, i just did it, spontaneously, without thinking about it.

on monday night, i was invited to a full-moon release ceremony.  these folks have been doing this for over ten years, and i was honored to be invited.  without going into details, the celebrants bring up old grievances, issues, beliefs, whatever is appropriate.  this group really honors and brings loving energies to very ancient native american traditions (they used an ember from a 400 old ceremonial fire from the cherokee nation, and the most kickass collection of bird wing fans i’ve ever seen :-)  they really perform their ceremonies with loving intent and energy.

without divulging the particulars, at the moment of release, a very strong feeling of compassion for this bodymind arose, and fell at the same time.  it was very moving, because i’ve said before how i wouldn’t treat a dog the way i treat my self.

so, the next day, i’m meeting someone for lunch, and the person forgot the appointment.  rather than adding to my list of grievances, or forgiving this person because i “should”, i just let it go.  poof.  gone.  really amazing.

so, i’m driving home, and then it hit me:  are you really ready to let go?  time for a haircut.  i walked into a place i normally have to make an appointment for, and did the dirty deed!  nothing radical, just a short cut.

why is it a big deal?  it’s not, but it was.  this is but an example of what i’m trying to convey, as we move into a greater energy and deeper awareness:

things will begin to fall away.

the only analogy i can come up with is an old garment.  i am ready for a new garment (spacesuit, if you will ;-), not because the old one is out of style and i look bad in it, but simply because it doesn’t fit any more.  things don’t taste the same, don’t smell the same, don’t have the same shiny slickness.  and it’s not things, it’s me that’s different, somehow.

i know some of the icke crowd will freak, but it is somewhat like shedding skin.  a snake does not shed its skin to get some where, it just outgrows it and EXPANDS out of it in an organic process.

it can be like that for hu-mans, but since we have the power of intention, that’s where it begins, ime: with the willingness to let go.  not perfection, just willingness, which arises from the courage not to settle for less, anymore.

damn!  my neck’s cold! :-D

a rite of passage

do you dare??

i want to thank lapis for her post on ”feeling different now“

it sparked me to remember something that happened for me in 99.

i was starting a new project, just conceiving it.  for a surprise birthday present, i took my wife to the state fair.  she used to go all the time as a kid, and i wanted to share that part or her life, re-evoke it for her.

when i got there, we walked around for a while, doing the fair thing, and i walked around a corner and looked up.  my heart kind of skipped a beat.  i was staring at this arch-shaped scaffold, about 120 feet in the air, and someone was suspended in midair under it.  a second later, the figure started dropping through space, then swung out, back and forth, at a high rate of speed.

now, i’m not one to do much thrill seeking; why jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

however, i had this overpowering urge to get on this contraption, get hoisted up by the seat of my pants, and do this thing.  so i did.

i put on the harness after listening to the attendant’s instruction, and was raised up by a couple of thin wires, and i’m hanging in mid-air about 10 stories up. the instruction came up to me  over a loudspeaker:  “pull the orange handle!”

i did, and in the first instant, i thought, “i’m going to kill that guy in the afterlife.  he’s hooked me up wrong, the harness has come completely unravelled, and i am now falling to my death.”  of course, in “realtime”, it was more like,

“i’mgoingtokillthatfuckerhe’shookedmeupwrongtheharnessunravelledi’m deadshitoshitoshiiiiite!”

obviously, he hooked it up right, cuz i’m still here writing this.  but for a brief instant, i thought i was dead.  that’s why i did it:  to know the physical feeling of letting go, “pulling the cord” and knowing what it feels like to be scared shitless.  i wanted to know what that felt like, because deep inside, i knew it would serve me on my path.

it was like a do-it-yourself initiation, a rite of passage.

pentecost jump

this is a picture of the pentecost jump, a ritual celebration on pentecost island in the south pacific.

that feeling, the feeling of being completely out of control and un-done, served me well as everything i’ve done over the last nine years with respect to the project i started in 99, as just about everything i tried blew up in my face.  somehow, as powerless and frustrated as i felt, i knew that i could live through it.

a new cycle has begun, and i had another initiatory “near-death experience” on sunday.

i was scheduled to to a presentation sunday evening (or so i thought). i won’t bore you with the details, but the point is in preparation, i felt completely not up to the task.  i was scared shitless, like i was sure to go down in flames.  i felt on sunday morning like i was going to die if i went to this meeting: a totally intense, consuming, irrational fear.

this is very odd, because i love to perform on stage.  when i hit my cue and i have no idea what’s going to come out of my mouth, i know it’s going to be a great night.  i’m normally fearless when it comes to getting up in front of people.  this time, it was different.

i was a basket case.  my wife went with me, just to make sure i didn’t drive off screaming into the night, i think ;-).

we arrived at the location, and found that we had both gotten the date wrong: the meeting was on tuesday.  nobody was home, all the lights out.  go figure.

i was stunned.  my wife was really confused, because she never misses an appointment, and is always on time.  always.  but she got the date wrong, too.

i heard angels laughing in the background.

i’ve been reflecting since sunday on how much of my time is focused on stuff that’s never going to come true, how illusory fear can be.

at the same time, it was a really valuable experience, because we only die once, right?  after that panic attack, how bad could the real presentation be?  even if i tank, so what?

i’m alive.

postscript:  the actual presentation was last night.  it came from the heart, with no fear, only humility, absolutely unattached to the results.

joseph campbell once said that the reason young people seem so lost in our society is that there is no intiation, no ritual that allows them to die to the child they were.  i’m also reading thomas moore’s “dark nights of the soul”.  moore counsels us to create our own meaningful intiations, and night passages, going through the birth canal (a tip o’ the crown chakra to karen bishop)  .  i feel like that’s what’s been going on for me:  floating in some kind of deep amniotic sac.  i look up, and i see the surface (the waking state), with this oily slick floating on the surface (my egoic personality).  unsettling, disorienting, but for me, absolutely essential.

sunday, i think my water broke.  lol

“We will be finally meeting together as one.  We will unite as a whole.  We will then be able to commune within community.”

I was talking to Peggie on the 26th, the day of Karen Bishop’s latest energy alert.

As we were talking about relationships.  Peggie said the most remarkable thing: “Relationship is about relative distance between two points.  By definition, relationship implies separation.  What it’s all about now is union, and joining, where there is no distance, only wholeness.”

Now, I know Peggie doesn’t read WUOPE, so when I read Karen’s report, I immediately recalled our conversation.

The last six months has been all about joining for me.  Community.  “With (com-) the Mun-dus (world).  Not the 3d world, but the interior world.  Or to be more precise, living the old dictum, “as within, so without”.

In the unfoldment of consciousness, I have found there can be no change without first acceptance of what has been.  Without embracing the past–  “forgiveness is giving up all hope of having a better past” — I am in denial.  If I do not accept, I have no choice but to cast a net of guilt and grief over my world.  Before I can enter community, I must re-member, reconnect, Who I Am.

All of me.

There’s so much more, but I can’t seem to access it right now.  I just thought Peggie’s comment was a remarkable, timely insight.

more conversations…

another dialogue.  this one is about buying a business property.  again, this is 10 years ago.

“i feel so inadequate about buying this property, like there’s no way i deserve it.”
what about not deserving it makes you unhappy?
“if i don’t deserve it then i’ve failed.”
what about failing makes you unhappy?
“everyone will see i’m a loser.”
everyone?
“ok, my father.”
what about your father seeing you as a loser makes you unhappy?
“he says he wants to be around successful people, and if i’m not successful he won’t love me.”
what about your father rejecting you makes you unhappy?
“then i’ll be alone.”
why do you believe that?
“i don’t.”
then what do you believe?  QUICK!  it’s very imporant to answer this right now!
“he’ll leave me again.”
you know, he may.  but know this: i am your “true” father, and you please me.  i will never leave you , i’m always there.  YOU are the one judging you on this.  that’s understandable.  if you can just pretend no one’s watching you, you can begin to digest this plan, one bite at a time.  it looks complicated, but think of it as two grand glasses.  one holds water.  pour the water from one glass to the other.  if the second is big enough to hold the volume of the first, you’re ok; if not, get a bigger glass.

the first glass is your ability to create.  the second glass is your capacity to receive.

if you want– truly desire– to make this work, “simply” expand your capacity to receive.  i will help you and teach you by example to love yourself.  ask, and i will bathe you every day in my golden light (which you saw in your dreams last night, btw).

note– apparently, i listened to the receiving part.  we stepped back from an offer on the property because we listened to the resistance, what it was telling us.  i let go of “trying to make it happen”, and in the process realized that this desire arose from old programming and paradigms.  we went another way, a way of simplicity, and it’s worked out for the best.
